Diverted by new things

I have been dabbling in trying new forms of expression. Palm inflorescences can be used for 2 dimensional wall hangings or wrapped/woven around a 3 D form.

Here the inflorescence is fresh and easy to manipulate. As it dries it becomes rougher on the hands and sets into the shape. I am self taught so an experimenting as I'm not a basket maker or weaver.
