The Integration series has forced me to explore new ways to represent the melding of life and art, a symbiotic relationship. Pablo Picasso said, " art is chaos taking shape". And I feel there is a chaotic element to the 3 pieces I've made for this series. Here I present the first one with strong use of color and symbols.

Red is the colour most associated with expressions of love. Red is a colour full of energy, passion and rage. Some say these red emotions are indistinguishable.

Materials: cotton, textile ink, fabric dye, batting, various threads

Techniques: hand painted and printed, machine pieced, machine quilted
