Social media is a gemish of things. It started out as a lot of fun.
We made new friends and rekindled old friendships. We connected, we laughed, we shared, we celebrated, we encouraged, we supported, and sometimes we wept.
And then it became more about news and marketing crappy products and endless advertisements....
And then came the misinformation, and manipulation, and absurd AI. Why are we still here? Why don't we leave?
Social Media was made from cotton, commercial print fabrics. The base layer was machine pieced. Layers 2 and 3 are freehand cut raw-edge applique with machine and hand embroidery.
