Why essence?

Essence is what is left when you get rid of all the superfluous.

And isn't water the beginning of everything? The essence of life on this planet? We can find it in a gaseous state, forming clouds, in a liquid state in the rain, springs, rivers, sea... Being part of ourselves and also forming the snow and ice that has kept secrets for a thousand years. Lets preserve the essence!
